Mike Hibner joined us January 2022 as Sales Manager for COMSTOR Outdoor, Small Nation’s billboard marketing team.

Mike is in charge of the day-to-day operations of COMSTOR’s 400 Ohio and Indiana locations, from the identification and management of billboard sites through the sales and customer communication strategies. Mike also leads the COMSTOR in-house and remote sales teams in establishing client relationships and best practices for achieving their marketing goals.

His degree in Computer and Business Management brings both technical and business savvy to COMSTOR’s team, further elevating their capabilities and service systems. Prior to joining the Small Nation team, Mike was a Recreation Consultant in the sales division of Midstates Recreation, serving 29 counties in the state of Ohio.

Mike lives in Coldwater, Ohio and enjoys giving back to the local community through the Buzzard’s Glory Community Club, a local volunteer organization. When he’s not working, he enjoys time with his four children, Kaleb, Colt, Aubree and Brynn, and their dog Tootsie. On Sundays after church, you’ll find him watching the Cleveland Browns (a lot of hope), strumming his guitar, or playing the drums along to just about any song.

In Mike’s words:

What motivates you? Why do you get up every day to do this kind of work?

This job motivates me because of the impact that it can have. I feel that this job allows me to help my clients to be more successful and it benefits their company and families. It also allows the end user of these products and services to find a solution that they have been searching for.

What are 3 personal beliefs or values you hold strong to and act in support of?

  1. Fix yourself first.
  2. Nothing is impossible.
  3. Success is not final and failure is not final. It is the courage to continue that counts.

What do you know for sure?

Be more interested in what other people say than what you have to say.

What kind of contribution and impact do you want to make on the world?

My contribution and impact would be to help the local communities to grow and prosper.  I am very passionate about building and supporting communities and hope that what I do allows those around me to engage with each other and work together to make the community a better place.

What is your personal motto?

Treat others how you would like to be treated.
