Cameron Saylor joined the Small Nation team in December 2022 as Staff Accountant. He maintains the day-to-day financial operations for the company and provides accurate financials. Cameron received his Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting from Bluffton University.

He joins the team after previously working as staff accountant and bookkeeper at All Around Accounting, LLC and accounts payable, accounts receivable and supervisor at Marker Inc.

Cameron resides outside of Belle Center with his wife, Tawney, his two daughters Kaydence and Kerrigan, and their three dogs – Bailey, Melody and Harmony.

In his spare time, he is serving in his sixth season as head boys basketball coach at Benjamin Logan and has coached Belle Center T-ball for the past two years.

What are you Surprisingly good at?
Although I haven’t played much recently, I’m pretty decent on the golf course.

What motivates you? Why do you get up every day to do this kind of work?
My family is my main motivation. I wake up every morning with the mindset of providing them a happy life.

The key to true happiness is enjoying what you do each day as well as who you do it with.

What would you do even if you didn’t get paid to do it
I’d coach basketball and teach the game to young people for free.

In a sentence or two, how would you articulate the professional legacy you want to leave. What kind of contribution and impact do you want to make on the world?
My goal is to look at my legacy and see a positive impact made on society and know that what piece of this world I am able to impact, even if it is very small, is in a better place when I am gone.

In addition to being paid money, how else has your career created value in your life
I value the knowledge I have gained throughout my career as well as the relationships I have been able to build.

What is a goal that you have for yourself that you want to accomplish in the next year?
I want to learn and have a great understanding of the company as a whole as well as build many great relationships.
