October 22, 2026 – A new destination for beauty and self-care is now open in Bellefontaine. MaKayla Esthetics at the Ivory House, owned by MaKayla Roesser, officially opened September 27 at 661 S. Main Street, offering a range of esthetic and beauty services in a welcoming, elevated environment.

For Roesser, opening her own business is the realization of a dream that began when she was just 12 years old.

“I’ve always loved beauty and helping other people feel their best,” said Roesser. “This has been my dream since I was 12, and I’ve always known this is what I was meant to do. Opening MaKayla Esthetics gives me the opportunity to create an experience where clients can come in, take time for themselves and leave feeling confident and cared for.”

MaKayla Esthetics offers facials, lash services, brow services and body waxing, along with a selection of curated beauty products. Roesser has designed the business as a luxury beauty destination focused not only on the services clients receive, but also on the overall experience.

The new location is also part of a larger vision Roesser is developing called The Ivory House, which will bring multiple independent beauty professionals together under one roof. The concept will allow individual professionals and brands to operate independently while creating a destination where clients can access a variety of complementary beauty and self-care services.

Roesser plans to use the space for more than appointments, with future events and collaborations including a grand opening celebration, Beauty Bar Nights, Girls Night Out events, Self-Care Sundays, client appreciation events, giveaways and raffles.
