Join more than 500 economic development professionals from across the country at the 2026 OEDA Annual Summit, taking place October 6–9, 2026, at the newly renovated Dayton Convention Center in downtown Dayton.

Hosted by the Ohio Economic Development Association, the Annual Summit is Ohio’s premier gathering for economic development professionals, community leaders, site selectors, workforce professionals, and industry partners. Attendees will gain valuable insight through more than 30 breakout sessions covering topics such as workforce development, housing, infrastructure, technology and AI, leadership, community engagement, and strategic deal making.

The Summit will also feature experiential learning tours, IGNITE presentations, keynote speakers, networking events, and opportunities to explore the revitalization and innovation taking place throughout the Dayton region. Whether you are new to the profession or a seasoned veteran, the OEDA Annual Summit offers practical ideas, meaningful conversations, and inspiration to help strengthen communities and drive economic growth across Ohio.

Small Nation is proud to participate in this year’s Summit as a co-presenter of From Vision to Vitality: Bridging Comprehensive Planning and Economic Development. This session will explore how communities can align comprehensive planning, economic development, tourism, branding, and corridor strategies to create lasting momentum and measurable results. Using the City of Circleville as a real-world case study, attendees will learn how successful communities move plans from documents on a shelf to actionable steps.
