Our facilities include a range of amenities and dedicated event space known as The Luminary, which hosts a variety of events and gatherings.

Job Summary:

We are looking for a dedicated Assistant Community Manager to join our team. This dynamic role involves fostering a culture of trust, collaboration, and openness within our community, ensuring our members are at the heart of everything we do. You will be instrumental in developing relationships both within and outside our community, facilitating events, and managing our new event space, The Luminary.

Key Responsibilities:

Community Engagement & Support:

  • Develop and maintain trustful relationships with members, understanding their needs and goals within the coworking space.
  • Encourage and facilitate member interactions through creative programming, strategic seating arrangements, and active community-building initiatives.
  • Act as a frontline responder to member inquiries, offering prompt and thoughtful solutions to ensure optimal satisfaction.

Event Planning & Management (The Luminary):

  • Handle customer inquiries, coordinate event set-up and clean-up, and manage various aspects of event planning to ensure successful execution.
  • Organize, plan, and execute member and external events, including logistics, vendor management, and attendee engagement.
  • Administer event marketing and promotion, ensuring The Luminary’s events are well-attended and memorable.

Partner & Vendor Relations:

  • Build and maintain relationships with partners and local businesses to enhance member benefits and foster a strong external network.
  • Collaborate with vendors for facility needs, IT support, and troubleshooting to maintain operational excellence.

Operational & Administrative Duties:

  • Maintain accurate member records and payment accounts, performing regular audits to ensure data integrity.
  • Manage bookings for event and meeting room rentals and keep up-to-date records of office and membership prospects.
  • Procure supplies, manage inventory, and oversee mail delivery in line with postmaster standards.

Sales & Marketing:

  • Act as a brand ambassador, ensuring the values and image of BUILD Marysville resonate in the market.
  • Drive and maintain marketing initiatives, manage social media presence, and conduct tours for potential new members with diligent follow-up.

Facility Oversight:

  • Uphold the cleanliness and functionality of the coworking space, performing regular checks and coordinating maintenance efforts.
  • Respond to facility and equipment issues, updating management and ensuring timely resolutions.

Qualifications:

  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Experience in customer service, community management, or event planning.
  • Ability to multitask and manage various projects simultaneously.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Flexibility to work on different tasks as needed, including occasional weekends or evenings for events.
